This project explores the artistic reinterpretation of plastiglomerate, a geological formation where plastic fuses with natural materials like stone and sand. I create sculptural pieces that mimic this phenomenon, using a combination of collected plastic waste and organic materials to reflect on humanity’s environmental impact in the Anthropocene era. Through this series, I investigate the relationship between synthetic and natural elements, challenging perceptions of what is "natural" versus "artificial." Each piece in the collection highlights the enduring presence of plastic in our ecosystems and serves as a visual commentary on the broader environmental crisis.
